Ken has been drawing sport celebrities for several years. He is a resident of St. Louis, Missouri and a graduate of Missouri State University. Ken has been a professional artist for over 25+ years. He has been able to combine two of his greatest passions into one, creating memorable sports art.
Ken's work is done in mixed media, markers, colored pencils and various paints. He has found that he can achieve rich degrees of shadows and highlights while still maintaining a high degree of realism and detail while combining multiple mediums. Ken uses a combination of colored boards, acrylic paint, and water color techniques to create his distinct backgrounds. He loves the fact that very few people work in colored pencil and marker. Ken believes this allows his work to stand out.
His work is generally sized at 16 x 20 inches on mat board, when completed. Of course, he can work on smaller sizes as well. If you are interested in having Ken do a commissioned piece or have any questions concerning pricing; please contact him through his email. Ken can be reached at or check out his contact page.
"The detail of Ken's work is incredibly realistic, he is truly money when it comes to his sports art!" -Steve Cash
